On your visit you may also meet the parent’s of the puppies. If you are interested in a puppy a deposit is required. At this time you must know what color and gender you prefer. By giving a deposit you are making a life time commitment to your puppy. You are also making a commitment to take your puppy home at the appropriate age and date, one hundred dollars of the deposit is nonrefundable. Everyone who has given a deposit on a litter will come back at 8 weeks of age and pick their puppy out in the order we have received the deposits and take your pup home that day. Cash is required when you pick up your puppy. No other form of payment will be accepted. We reserve the right to keep first pick from a litter. You must be available on the day given to pick out your new companion.
All puppies have a twenty-six month hip guarantee, a 1 year eye guarantee against genetic or hereditary disease and a four year PRA guarantee. They will all be seen by a veterinarian, receive a health check and their first set of shots. All pups are on a deworming schedule. Pups will also be started on NuVet vitamins at 4 weeks of age and are required to continue until six months of age. They will also be sent home with 30 days free Trupanion Health Insurance. All of our pups are born and raised in our home.

We have our adult dogs OFA (hip dysplasia) and cerf (PRA) tested before breeding. This does not mean that a pup will not have any of these conditions. This only means we are doing our best to avoid them. 

We give a Four year guarantee for PRA and a one year guarantee against any another genetic eye issues. This must be verified by OptiGen testing or a certified Canine Ophthalmologist or Cerf. We also guarantee the puppy against Hip Dysplasia for up to 26 months of age. If your veterinarian suspects Hip Dysplasia, the X-ray must be sent to and verified by the OFA or PennHIP. This must be done by 26 months of age.

Any tests or X-rays are done at the owners expense and we reserve the right to receive a second opinion. If any of these conditions are verified, we will replace the dog with a puppy when available. If the owner wishes to keep the dog we will refund half of the purchase price.

The owner must furnish us with a letter from the veterinarian stating the dog has been spayed or neutered. All veterinarian, shipping and other expenses will be the owners responsibility.

These guarantees are only held true if the puppy/dog has received proper care, nutrition and has been on NuVet Vitamins for at least the first 6 months and has left our home and been enrolled with Trupanion Health Insurance which we offer to you for free for the first 30 days. It is not required after the first 30 days for you to continue the health issuance, however we high recommend that you do have health insurance for your companion. If there are any signs of abuse, trauma, or neglect buy the owner this will invalidate the guarantees.
